the new map that i purchased says "in progress"?

I purchased a central america/caribbean map hours ago and it still says in progress. I therefore can't update my tom-tom. How long does it take to show up in my "my maps" section? I thought it would be an instant thing.

    Nah, never instant. Sometimes takes hours for the pay servers to 'talk' to the map servers.

    If the map isn't showing by tomorrow morning, call support:

    I can see that the LATAM - 1 year Map Update Service is already assigned to your account but if you check the LATAM map compatibility with your device here, LATAM maps are not compatible with it.

    Please get in touch with our customer support and they'll be able to process the refund of your order. You can find the contact information as dhn mentioned.
