Is it possible to run my Rider 450 from a classic British 6 volt system, or what modification would be necessary?

    Hi,

I would wire it up then check the output with a multi meter I think it may just work. The mount has to be smart enough to regulate the voltage which normally on a modern machine will be between 11 and 14V depending on the state of charge of the motorcycle battery. So probably worth an 30 mins of your time to wire it in a check everything both with the bike off and with it running and normal cruising revs.

I’ll try this, once the garage warms up!
