We have a current issue with the MyDrive app(Android) which is under investigation.
I would recommend you to try the troubleshooting steps as suggested below:
1. Clear cache data for the following apps (note, going to Settings > Applications / Manage Applications, might not show them. Via the 'More link in the top right corner, enable 'Show System Apps')
Google Play Services
Google Play Store
Google Services Framework
.
2. Set the time to "automatic"
3. Restart the phone (this is important)
4. After the phone restarts check and make sure their internet browser has access to the internet with wifi and/or 3g/4g
5. Download a fresh copy of the app from the Google Play store
6. Attempt to install
8. Try to open the app
There's a release of MyDrive Android App v1.14, this is only rolled out to the 10% of Android users.
We'll make an announcement once its available for all. Stay tuned!
Cheers, lampard
Unpaid beta testers?
this is due to google, apps and updated are now rolled out in stages, this is to ensure if there is a problem (can happen in live due to many different phones, android versions, apps installed, etc, etc) they can easily rollback and pull the update to prevent more users from being afected
The problem with MyDrive (on android) coincided (although I didn't realise at the time) with me updating my Samsung phone to Android v7.
All notifications (email, messages etc) stopped working and when I used MyDrive for the first time after this update it failed with...
Error TomTom services are temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
With Samsung's help I eventually had to do a factory reset on the phone. Anyway, after setting everything up again complete with Android 7, all notificationa are working again.
I decided to see how MyDrive was behaving and surprise, surprise v1.13.0 is working again too!!
I originally blamed the issue on my phones (both my husband and I purchased new phones in early December) but the app no longer works on my old phone either -- just too long for this to continue to be a problem.
I have had the same problem for a few weeks, but until now I have not tried very hard to sort it out and ultimately didn't have to do much anyway to make it work.
I have version 1.14.0 of MyDrive on my Samsung phone and my 5200 is up to date, and even though both devices looked as if they were logged on, I logged out of MyDrive on the phone and then re-logged back into the account. Immediately my places appeared on the map which were not showing before, and I was able to send a route to the 5200 which was not happening before.

This has been going on for at least two weeks and you say that there is a current issue...
How long has TomTom known about it?
It has been a problem for more than 2 weeks.
