Device won't update XL 340 — TomTom Community

Device won't update XL 340

My XL340 is not completing the update, it updates the backup but nothing else, the message I get is "The connection to the TomTom server timed out" I have checked all my connections and they are fine, I have windows 10, this is the first problem I've had in 7 years with this device, Any advice on what is wrong.
