TomTom speech incorrect using a computer voice- GO 6100

I don't know if anyone else has noticed but when i approach an "accident black spot" tom tom actually says "accident black START" Can this be corrected by TomTom team in a future update?

You’re not alone. I’ve got this as well. I use my Trucker 6000 in my motorhome. As a check I turned on every announcement a few weeks ago. Then a couple of days later my wife asked if the voice was saying START in place of SPOT.
No need to post report number details but did Service register the issue for investigation or say it’s a known bug?0 -

I got a reply today and they said other people have raised the issue, they said "It seems to be a glitch in the software and will be resolved after an application update, please be assured our Technical Team are working on a resolution with high priority."...so all is well.:slight_smile:0 -
When will TomTom cure this problem? My TT 5100 GO still says Accident Black Start instead of Accident Black Spot and has done for months and it sounds stupid! When will there be an app update????0

Hello everyone reporting the pronunciation bug with the computer voice...
We are planning to create a ticket of this, we have received some similar reports through the customer service as well.
What information is needed:- Selected computer voice-
- Selected country on the device when you first get started-
- Language chosen in the device menu-
