Multisports not charging

My sports watch does not charge any more. When I connect the watch to my PC the Tom Tom Sports connect program opens. On the watch the battery charging symbol is displayed and showing it is charging. When the connect program is gone through the updating cycle is says that the watch is charging. On the watch the battery symbol shows the battery being full and is not moving anymore. The watch becomes pretty warm after a while. However, it does not charge at all.
I have tried to reset to factory settings, however this did not solve the problem.
Can you please advise what I should do next as my watch now have become useless.

    It sounds like the battery may be failing. At this point I would suggest calling Customer Support to see what they can do. They are able to more deeply investigate and diagnose problems than we can here on the user forum. To get the number for Customer Support, go to tomtom.com/support, choose Contact at the bottom, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
