Power consumption for the GO 5100

What is the power consumption of my GO 5100 to keep alive, i.e. not significantly charging or decharging?

If I know the mAh of the internal battery, it's about an hour operating time without external power.

My estimate is about 800-2500 mAh, but that's to inaccurate.

I want to use a bicycle dynamo (generator) combined with a 5V rectifier/stabiliser as a powerbank as buffer to charge my TomTom while cycling (using modern built in high voltage dynamos. Such a 5V ( usb) can deliver 800mA, but how long would a 5100 last then? (using a 12000 to 20000 mAh fully charged powerbank).

see conrad.nl for usb poer device:

    Hi
I drove from Worcestershire to the British MotoGP Silverstone and back using a GO 520 and a 5200 mAh Power Bank
The Power Bank has 4 LEDs indicating charge state only one LED had turned off (I guess minus 25%)

Just now the GO 520 says Worcestershire to Silverstone 70 miles... 1 Hour 24 minutes

Thanks for the reply. A friend wants to use it for 8+ hours a day. I recommended to buy this device but promised to do some research first. It is specified to work 1 hour, and with a powerbank it will last longer. Was your device still 100% fuĺl after the trip? or did it discharge slower? Maybe we hsve to do a test with a power bank and measure when it pwers off (looking all day to it :-)

Sorry, Silverstone was back in August, I never noted the charge status on the device, just pleased the Powerpack had only discharged around 25%

The Rider 4xx Range has much larger batteries and a specified Up to 6 hours autonomous operation
