Unable to start a run on Spark 3

When I go for a run my tomtom spark 3 is **** on the please wait screen. This means I am not able to exercise using my watch at the moment. The software is up to date and is synched with my phone.

    Is it waiting or a GPS or HR lock (the symbol will be flashing)? That is the only reason it would not start. If GPS, are you syncing every three days to get the latest GPS data and in a fixed position with a clear view of the sky? If HR are you using the internal HR or a strap? if a strap is it on and functioning and under Sensors> Heart is it set for external? I hope this helped answer your question.
