Runner 2 Will not connect!!!

Hi very frustrating, since the watch has been updated the watch will no longer connect.
It finds the watch in the app, the watch shows a pin but the app just stays on connecting and I cant enter a pin, it is not hidden anywhere.
The watch then automatically pairs in the BT settings, My phone supports the required BT specification. I have the Huawei p10 Lite
I have reset the watch and uninstalled an reinstalled app! Please Fix ASAP.

Numerous threads on this. You can request to go back to the older firmware which seems to be more reliable while we all wait for a fix.
