Display icon during track mode

I cannot find what the line and the arrow at top of track mode view stand for, anybody knows?

What is track mode? Do you man trails mode (like following the line on the screen)?

Trails mode yes. But I got it few minutes after my message. Is simple a page indicator because there are tre levels of zoom. Sorry but my poor english doesn't help to explain.
