"lock" option always ON after update to 1.6.26

froggyranitafroggyranita Posts: 55 [Outstanding Wayfarer]
Hello, on my Runner 2, despite the "lock" option being set to "NO", i have to press and hold for a split second the left button to pause and stop.
This was not the case with the previous firmware.
I did not perform a factory reset after the upgrade to 1.6.26

Any idea how to get the "lock" option to OFF?

Thanks and regards, Pascal

    On watch go to Settings>Options>Lock>OFF

Hi, there was a typo in my original posting:
// despite the "lock" option being set to "NO" //
    should have been
// despite the "lock" option being set to "OFF" //

so my question remains, why since the latest firmware update, despite having disabled the lock option, i have to press and hold for a split second the left button to pause and stop.

BTW, i have just been upgraded to Version 1.7.53, let's see if this solves my issue

    Thanks, Pascal

Looks like you just reported a bug. Wonder if Tom Tom will fix this.

I'll report here on Sunday if the problem persists. I performed also a factory reset. Just in case!

    Thanks for your help.

Well, with the latest firmware available (1.7.53), the lock feature does not behave as expected.
Despite its status set to NO i still have to press a split section to pause and stop.

Yes, it doesn't work properly on my Runner 3 too. Always "on" even after factory reset. Slightly frustrated. Version 1.7.64
