Activity/inactivity according to TomTom

After the most recent update there is this functionality that one can turn off the automatic suspension of metrics recording when the user is "inactive." It worked fine on my first two runs (one of which lasted about 7 hours), i.e., the total time and the active time were equal (even if I was inactive for several minutes at the drink/food stops on that long run). However, this morning there is again a discrepancy between the total time and the active time, and the TomTom Sports shows "auto paused" at the time I was waiting at the traffic lights! So, why is auto pause still active even I've turned it off?
Can someone explain the logic here?

So, I am still awaiting a response to this. Why does active time on the mobile app differ from the total time even if I have turned all auto pauses off? Desktop app seems to work fine (for now). Thanks.0
