How do I stop the demo/instruction video on a GO520

    Hi Bronky

    Welcome to the community:)

    We have made some changes from our side and I would want you to connect your device to a WiFi internet connection and check for updates. This will remove the demo mode.

    Then do a soft reset(press and hold the on/off button till you hear the drum sounds) and test the device.

    This does not work (new 6200); not only annoying, but dangerous and probably illegal.

    How may I stop this commercial for something I have already bought?

    Contact Customer Services as only they can remove the problem

    In my view, having to contact Customer Services to "remove the problem" is outrageous. TomTom - please add an easy-to-find option in the settings to remove / disable the promotion video.

    @TheoL The promotion video is not something which is usually on the units to begin with. The videos are meant for the store display samples but sometimes the incorrect ones get sold.
