Starting up new TomTom Spark

Just received a new TomTom Spark, but can not make it to start working.
Will start setup screen when plugged in in power, but then asks to be usb connected to computer to start set-up. When plugging out watch turns off.
When plugging into computer and TomTom sports connect program starts, it says it's fully charged and ready to use. But it stays on the battery screen and does not go to set up screen on the watch. When plugging out of computer, the watch turns off again.

What to do?

    Do a factory reset: make sure the Connect software is running and dock the device to your computer; the Connect window will open; press the gear at the top right and select factory reset from the next screen. Follow the steps provided and when prompted to register or sign in to MySports, select sign in and use your existing account credentials. It is fairly straightforward and should take less than 5 minutes.

    Thanks for the help! I already managed go get to registration, did it again after factory reset nw. The problem is that after that the watch stays on battery screen, even after being fully charged. It does not go to set-up screen on the watch, and turns off as soon as removed from the laptop.
