Music stutters and stops

I've got the TomTom Spark Cardio+Music. I bought it last years October. That one broke, but since I've got a new watch (August 2017), the music stutters and stops randomly.

I've tried all the following:
- just uploading 1 song to see whether the storage was too full (did also stutter with this one song uploaded, and pauzes randomly as well)
- checked whether the songs were the correct MP3 types (they all were)
- holding my watch next to my headphones (also stuttering, so wearing it on the 'wrong' wrist is also not the problem)
- reset the watch to default settings (still had the problems)

Is it solvable or do I need to bring it for reparation?
