Trouble updating TomTom Start 25
It either won't connect of fails when updating. I have been trying all day to do an update but I have now lost all the maps. Can anybody help out here. I am on the edge of getting rid of it and going for a Garmin. is this my best course? As mentioned the unit is great but the update software is totally CRAP

Thanks for all your help, appreciate its not your fault I'm having an issue, but it may be time to give up on Tom Tom and get a better make

I attempted to update my go5200 whilst touring in France The wifi connection failed and this resulted in all my maps being removed and I was stranded in France without any SAT NAV This is not acceptable. My lesson learned> DO NOT attempt to update the device on a wifi system of unknown reliability
