Multi devices- Transfer the services to Via 52

I have purchased a new Via 52 to replace the ageing and occasionally unreliable Live 820.

Both devices show on my My Drive Connect account. The Live 820 is soon to be scrapped altogether (just waiting an answer to this query), can the services credit remaining on that device be transferred to the Via 52?

If not, can I ask why not? It seems merely a question of pressing a few buttons at your end.

    Normally not but you might ask of support and get lucky with one of the agents, especially if you offer to show proof of purchase of the new Via.
