Are you sure that "Map Share" has not got lost in translation see https://se.support.tomtom.com/app/glossary/locale/sv_SE
As these are distributed free.
Otherwise cut and paste the actual email containing the "free" statement, remember to remove your actual email address, in anything you post.

That is the usual reminder to update to latest (v9.95), issued a week or so after the release of the quarterly update

Ah, I must have updated weeks ago as I certainly forgot (looks like a month ago?). Well, it's confusing since I've updated already.

Thanks for reporting this!

Looks like the map and TomTom Traffic subscription dates have got mixed up in the email. Lifetime map subscription is for 10 years.

I've reported this to the respective team.

I need to check my Tomtom GO retail box as I don't recall this statement on the box..

@Tabb TomTom has stated that if a unit is still working and supported after 10 years the subscription will be extended upon request. The 10 year date is more or less a "placeholder".

@big that's good, because I checked and my it doesn't mention the 10 year subscription on my retail box and is explicit by saying "Lifetime Maps".
It would be great if you had a link to the post that contains that response so I read the whole post.
