Steps not registering on app?

SO I know people are having issues on activities not loading, but all of a sudden none of my steps are registering on the app.
I've connected by bluetooth and physically to a PC and its still saying 0 steps since my last connection.
Now my gym activity from this morning uploaded fine and the watch is displaying 12,000+ steps, but nothing since the 21st of Aug step wise is showing up??

    So after syncing again this morning it seems to have counted all steps since I synched on Wednesday, but while my weekly watch total steps are 69788 the total on my app is 24,419?
