Sadly, the answer above is typical of answers from both TomTom and Ford with respect to the TomTom powered built-in Ford Sat Nav. It's totally at odds with this TomTom press release: https://www.tomtomforums.com/threads/ford-picks-tomtom-for-sync.29765/

I have a Ford Edge with built-in TomTom powered Sat Nav and it's pretty dire TBH. The map is wildly out of date and it has an annoying habit of routing you along the narrowest route imaginable. This can be a problem when you have a car 2.2M wide. Someone needs to take ownership of this problem.

My SD card has GM5T-19H449-FA printed on it. Presumably this means something to someone?
