Application Freezes after losing Internet Connection- Go mobile app android

After the latest update 1.17 the application freezes when the internet connection is lost for a minute or two (moving between cell towers). I need to restart the application to let the application function again.

    When the app freezes are you also losing GPS connection? Is the location arrow turning grey?

    Could you also state your phone model and Android version, please? Do you have the app installed in the internal memory of you phone or on SD card?

    Thank you Mikko, also for you quick response. :) I own a HTC One M9 running on android 6. The application is installed on the internal memory.

    While the application freezes the phone indeed also loses GPS sign. At that moment a GPS indicator shows that the app is looking for a signal. The location arrow is still green, but it jumps slightly back to a location where I've already been.
