Change map language on MyDrive website

I live in Thailand. Maps on my Android device display correctly in English following my settings in the Android app.

But on the mydrive website all map writing (street names, areas etc) is in Thai which I cant read. So even though the menus and functions are in English the website is basically useless as I simply cant tell what I'm looking at on the map.

Why is there not a simple option on the website to change the displayed map language for street and area names? Or maybe there is such an option but I cant see it?

    Hi DarrelT,

    Welcome to the Community!

MyDrive indeed currently shows map data only in native language/characters. The MyDrive app, however, shows map data based on your phone's languages, just like the GO Mobile app does. Locations can also be searched on both using your preferred language/characters.

I'll log this as an improvement request for the team.

    Cheers, Mikko

I have this infuriating situation also i.e. My Drive maps are in Thai language although my tablet language is set to English. I have the My Drive latest app downloaded...as far as I am aware...so I cannot understand the solution offered to change my Thai maps to the English language. Perhaps I need a more simple detailed explanation I can follow. Can anyone oblige please.

I think if you select the flag you should be able to choose a language n Mydrive.
