Carminat SD card lost

Hi Guys,
I've bought a 2012 Renault menage that unfortunately came missing the SD card from it TomTom Carminat, so I call TT support and according to the support person any TomTom SD would work in my TT Carminat, so I inserted the SD card (that's I'm guessing contain Maps!?) from my TT Go720 in TT Carminat but nothing happened!?
so, I'm doing something wrong, or would any TT SD card with Maps work?

As the car you purchased came with a missing SD card we will not be able to track back which map was installed on it?
If the built in the device was already linked to your account then a new memory card can be used to install updates which is not the case here.
I would advise you to please check with the original owner of the car, or ask him to contact customer service and transfer the ownership or link the serial number to your account(email address).
