Disappointed with this purchase to say the least. 34 minutes walking around the house showing as walking 1.33 klm and burning through 811 calories. Absolute garbage. At this rate I will have burnt through thousands of calories by the end of the day. I should be the size of a stick insect in a week or two at this rate. Also, will not update activity to myfitnesspal (and I have tried everything to set it up to do so). This fitness watch will be getting returned. 8770d9d6-84ff-4171-ab2a-3c00babb895f.png

If you were alive and breathing, digesting, etc. then you were burning calories and that is what a 24/7 activity tracker is supposed to be tracking. It computes a BMR based on your gender, height, weight, etc. and takes this along with steps and sports activities to come up with calories burned. So between midnight and whenever you woke up you burned 811 calories just being alive and walking around and will burn thousands of calories a day. This is exactly what it and all other activity trackers are designed to do. They are capturing your 24/7 activity, not just when you are engaged in sports. In my experience it is generally pretty accurate (or as accurate as BMR based calculations can be as they are based on averages).

As to MyFitnessPal, all it syncs are sports activities not steps and 24/7 tracking so none of your daily activity will show up on MFP.

I hope this helped answer your question. If so, please mark it as a solution so others can look for it if they have the same question.
