Is it just me or has it started taking a REALLY long time before you can see your data post-sync, yesterday I could only see the stats of my run 5.5 hours after syncing it with my phone, when they brought out this new analysis thing it did slow things down a bit, but on the outside it was 30 minutes and all was well, but really, 5.5 hours. I get it, the servers are probably busy but how about letting us simply see the raw data right off the bat and giving us the filtered data later, quite frankly I could care less about then entire 0 seconds I stood still yesterday.
I sync with my phone so I can see the details not readily available on the watch, and quite frankly there is no valid reason I should not be able to see my data right after syncing it, any special treatment you adding to my run can be done after the fact.

Is this a consistent problem? The processing of the data on mysports takes very little time, however the mobile client will wait until the server has reported that all 3rd party exporters have finished before refreshing the activity. There were problems and outages yesterday which caused delays in the 3rd party exporters so I'm wonder if that's what you experienced.
I believe if you do a drag down refresh on the mobile client it will refetch the activity list so that should show the mysports activity even if all the exporters have not finished.

Stuart.
Yes it has happened again, So Sunday it took about 5.5 hours.
Monday evening I synced around 6pm, and at 9pm my data was still not available, yet when I woke up around 4am and turned my phone on, the data was ONLY then pushed to strava and training peaks. I cannot say when it made it to TT, but I got my challenge mail from strava about 1min after booting up the phone.
It is almost as if the data never left the phone, but I synced while connected to wifi and well a very stable 10mb upload should not give too many issues. Howver Sunday I had sync'd using LTE, the connection is unlikely to be at fault. Phone has not had any OS updates or anything recently, nothing that I know of has changed on my side that could easily explain this.
Tried the pull down, checked on the desktop browser, re-synced 3 more times on the phone and once on the PC.
Here's what I found looking through the logs
On Sunday (2017-07-30 13:44:09 UTC) an activity was uploaded and exported. It took 10 seconds, after that time it would have been visible on the web page. You don't say when you think the mobile uploaded it, but I assume 13:44 UTC is sometime after that time.
Two activities were uploaded today (2017-08-01 01:38:14/16 UTC). They took 9 and 22 seconds respectively. Again, or some reason the mobile did not upload the activities until early morning today.

Stuart.

So there are 3 possibilities I can think of
1. The mobile is not sending the data when you expect it to be sent, but when it is sent the mobile displays it straight away
2. The mobile is sending the data when you expect, but somehow it doesn't get the result until some time later.
3. As per (2), but the mobile doesn't display the result it just got for some reason.
(2) and (3) are the least likely.
For example, for your last activity it was uploaded today at 12:51:35 UTC and I can see that the mobile requested it as soon as it was finished (2 seconds later). That rules out (2) for that activity as least, if 12:51 UTC is not the time you expected it to be uploaded then that implies (1).Or if it wasn't visible in the app at 12:51 UTC then that implies (3). There's nothing more I can tell from my side.

Stuart.
This strongly suggests point 1, as I suspect a flag is set on the watch as to weather or not the data has been sync'd or not, meaning me connecting it to my PC after having sync'd with my phone would yield no results.
My guess is there is some problem with the app and sending the data out, as I do know the app does not begin syncing with the watch if there is no active internet connection, but it seems it is taking and holding the data and pushing it up for some reason.
As it is apparent that I am not the only one, may be a good idea to escalate this to the team doing the mobile dev, most likely happened with the last update, which was July 27, before that it was slower but not immensely as seen this past weekend, unless bmx911 noticed it sooner, but the 27th, 29th, 30th and 31st I went for a run and the 27th I noticed nothing serious.
The 29th I syn'd around 06:30 UTC and had my data by 07:15, the rest you already know.
I have a Redmi 3s running android 6.0.1
Thanks again...

Once you sync by phone it will not sync again by computer. The data is removed and all that is left is summary data in the history. This is true in the other direction as well. Syncing via app or PC is either/or, once you sync an activity by one method the data is removed from the watch and there is nothing to sync again.
I have also spoken to a friend and his wife had a TT and an iPhone and is not experiencing the same issues.
Once sync finishes, leave the app open, turn off all data for about 2 or 3 seconds and then back on, it will upload it, and then u can just pull down to refresh.
It seems for some reason after getting your data the app knows you are online but seems to think it cannot connect to the server or something, so actually going offline so the app detects that jump starts into actually pushing to server when you are back online again.
P.S.
upload by cellular or Wifi.
If you're experiencing syncing or pairing issues with the Sports app, please go through this questionnaire. That'll give our technicians more information for their investigations into this. In the end of the questionnaire there's also an opportunity to get it touch with one of our specialised Customer Service agents who can help you further with this.

Firstly, I was having issues syncing however, I *think* that research tells me that basically my fault, as I have a Withings/Nokia app, a Wahoo App, and Garmin Connect on my phone. So that's my deal - so when I turn BT off then back on, THEN sync via the Sports app - all is well. It syncs.
BUT then is doesn't show up in my app dashboard for ages!!! (I think I've solved this my a phone restart) but its 2017 people, I should NOT have to turn it off and turn it back on again to get the damn data into the app - and thus shared with Strava....
Who wrote this dumb bug into the software and why the devil aren't they fixing it???
Suunto Spartan trainer is looking *very* attractive right now...
