Yep, same symptoms same problem. Tape won't work. I can push the buttons with small screw driver, bezel removed, all fine except for swipe right. Dead and only 3 years old. Very disappointed. Don't know where to go now as my wife's Garmin Vivoactive 3 is playing up - her 3rd under warranty. Maybe have to wait for the next generation of GPS watches, whatever that means?

I seem blessed, as I used a Brother marking tape off-cut to the right size and it's working for me. One test I did before the revamp, was to test the right switch with a small screwdriver. Sure enough the micro-switch had slipped down but was working well. So for me a wider press switch, with a Brother tape off-cut, was the answer. I expect these micro switches may be available from local component stores but may be tricky to replace if they are surface mount.

Same problem (right button dead) and a very clumsy variation of the tape solution worked perfectly. Thanks a lot to the guy that discovered it. Anyway I'm assuming it's a temporary fix and thinking about a new watch. TomTom never amazed me and always gave me sync issues through different phones (nothing serious, just wasted time). But to be honest mine it's already 5 years old and never failed (done more than 6000km with it). Don't want anything fancy, just need GPS and heart rate. I prefer durability over design. Any ideas?

TomTom Sports went out of business over 18 months ago and discontinued the watches, ceasing all production and development and severely limiting support. You should look for another brand.
