I'm sorry to hear you were not informed about the compatibility of the Bandit app. I assume you have a Windows phone. The Bandit app is indeed only compatible with Android phones and iPhones. This is also mentioned in the documentation.
You can still use the camera to shoot your action and edit and share it with the Bandit Studio. The Remote control is also a handy accessory to help you get most out of your camera.
