spark cardio not synching with phone lg4

So I've got myself a Tom Tom Spark Cardio. Previously i had a Garmin Forerunner 220, which was great by the way. However, i wanted a Spark because firstly it has a built in heart rate monitor. Secondly, i like the idea of the race function. Two weeks in, syncing my watch to LG 4 is a nightmare, constantly unpairing just to upload runs. The second glitch was yesterday, decided to go for a race. Started watch, gps kicked in, go go go so i thought! A km or so down, glanced at watch, watch indicated i hadn't even moved, distance wasn't budging. So i started again, exactly the same thing happened, at this point i gave up. I just ran normal route. Got home not feeling invigorated really, i was annoyed. Runs apparently uploaded, one run said i had been active for 6 mins, stood still for 23! I'm totally confused with this watch, even when watch was working kinda, pace wasnt accurate, compared to my garmin i was running a lot slower, and i was flogging it. Another annoying thing, cannot factory reset watch, i dont have a PC. I have tried to reach out to tom tom via instagram and facebook, haven't had any response so far. Please can anyone help me put the spark in this spark???

    You need to do a reset, which you can't do without a PC (it is stated on the packaging that it requires access to a computer). Do you have one you can borrow from a friend or relative or your local library? Without a computer you cannot only not reset, you cannot get updates to the device to fix critical issues and update the features. If you want to contact TomTom you are best off taking a direct approach and calling them (Facebook and Instagram are easily overlooked and may not get to the right people). To get the number for Customer Support, go to tomtom.com/support, choose Contact at the bottom, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
