I tried to connect the bandit with the app on my smartphone (oneplus 3)

1.Switch on your Bandit.
2.From the Camera Status screen, move up to turn on the Bandit’s wireless connection.
The name of the wireless connection and the password are shown on the screen.
3.On your smartphone, go to the phone's wireless settings screen then select the Bandit wireless connection from the network list.
4.Enter the password shown on the Bandit screen.

After this the Bandit is showing 'connected with'

I open the app and touch the button to make contact with the bandit.
After this the app only shows 'er wordt verbinding gemaakt' (for those wo don't speak dutch: connection is creating)

But than nothing happened?!?

Android version on the telephone is 7.1.1

    Hi Sjoerd,

Welcome to the Community and sorry for my late reply!

I'd recommend you to reset the Wi-Fi connection [support FAQ - Reset bandit] of your Bandit, remove the pairing from your phone and re-pair.

Please, post back here to tell us how you're doing with this so that we can help you further, if needed :D

    Cheers, Mikko

    what you need to do.

is remove the wireless connection from your phone, to be sure.
leave the bandit software alone (stop program if you have started it).
start the bandit in wireless mode.
start your wireless mode on your phone or what ever (hihi)
then search your bandit in the wireless connections , choise and add the password.

if correct the bandit and the phone are connected, but the bandit software is not started yet.
then start the bandit software and you will see what you need to see and continue.

after this, if correct all will work like you assume it will.
at least that worked for me i had the same problem with my samsung s4.

most problems that happen in this cases with all software in general.
is some how the first time when you want to connect trough the software.
it does not handle the connection good, in combination with entering a password in your phone or tablet or what you are using.
(sorry for the bad english, but i'm dutch)

For me it helped turning off the mobile data connection, so the app will only search for the Bandit via Wifi.

    THIS!!! Thank you so much!

This is the solution to why this camera has been an expensive paperweight for the last two years.
