Upgrade for Tomtom go mobile error

Hi,
Every time I try to log on via Tomtom Europe in order to get the free 3 year upgrade, I get the error 'an error occured'.
What do I do in order to get the upgrade?

    Should this not help you sort this out, could you post some screenshots of what you're seeing, please?

    I'd recommend you to reset your password here.

    Should that not help you sort this out, please contact Customer Service. They can better assist with account related matters.

    Same here,
    - reset password a few times.
    verified by login into de the website and the account is working.
    - opened and closed the app a few times.
    same issue remains...

    so now, the old app is not working and I can't use the update.

    Is there a helpdesk for this?
