Runner 2 not able to do what I want it to do

I would like to start running a race and then I want to start the watch and the watch must buzz me every 5 minutes, namely at the 5 minute mark and then at 10 minutes and 15 minutes and so on. This would work if I could set the REST to a 0 minutes and 0 seconds. I believe that this can be done by writing a patch for the watch and then downloading it onto the watch. Any other suggestions?

All yo need to do is set a manual lap for 5 minutes. Go to Training>Laps>Time and set it for 5 minutes and it will buzz every 5 minutes as you want.
