"Joystick" inoperable on Runner Cardio watch

Hi my watch started going haywire during a run. I was unable to stop it scrolling left or right or up and down with the joystick if I can call it that. Eventually it ran out of power then would not take any charge through my mains adaptor. I got it connected to my laptop when I got home from holiday and it seemed to download Okay but does not display the recharging symbol. It must be taking some charge as I can disconnect without showing the fully discharged symbol. When disconnected however the joystick does not work so its stuck just in watch display mode. Any thoughts anyone?

    It sounds like the button is stuck a bit in one direction. You can try loosening it up with a pin or using compressed air, but your best bet is to call Customer Support who can determine if a replacement is in order. To get the number for Customer Support, go to tomtom.com/support, choose Contact at the bottom, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
