Hi Rubach,
I'm not aware of any delivery issue at the moment. The last update was released last Thursday and according to our logs you've installed it.
Cheers, Mikko

Hi Rubach,
Update to the previous: The last Speed Cameras update was released April 24th. Unfortunately, due to a technical issue we're currently not able to release Speed Cameras updates. I'll post back here when I have more news about this.
We're very sorry for the inconvenience this is causing you!

So... You have checked that I have installed an update... that has not been delivered...?
Your and/or TomTom`s trustworthyness is wearing pretty thin.
The fact that speed-camera update subscriptions has been having "issues" for years does NOT help.
How hard can it really be to fix this problem if you apply some real resources to fix the situation.
Its been an ongoing problem for many years!
But hey...I guess its more costeffective to brake your promise of delivery and let your customers down a few times a year...
BTW.. Smart move to "include" speed camera subscription with some units so that you no longer feel obliged to give customers something back for services not delivered...

Hi Rubach,
I only checked when you had last updated the cameras, not from when the update was. My apologies for the oversight!

Has the solution already been found, when are speedcam updates available again?

I would guess not as in the updates yesterday there was new v9,90 maps and regular map-shares...no speed cam subscription updates.

Hi all,
The problem with Speed Camera updates has now been resolved and we'll release updates today again and in normal schedule from here on
Unfortunately, there's still a problem with releasing Speed Camera updates through TomTom HOME. We're working hard to find a solution to this as soon as possible. I'll keep you posted.
The frustrating thing about this is, yesterday I spent an hour + on the phone to customer servives who told me that there was no issue with speed camera updates, they had me doing various things including uninstalling my speed cameras to no avail, then promised me it would be escalated and get back to me, guess what nobody did and now your saying there was a problem with the service?
Honesty go's a long way, this is shocking customer service from TomTom, to not know your facts and to then lie to customers, I reckon Garmin will be getting a lot of new customers if this is the level of service and honesty we can expect.
Hi All,
I purchased a 18 month contract on 4th May 2017 and have not had a speed camera update since.
Probably because the last Speed Camera update was released April 24th.
TomTom is currently "working hard" to find a solution to a problem with the update service as stated above in this thread.
I suggest you get in touch with UK Customer Service and have them prolong the duration of your subscription for as long as it takes TomTom to fix the issue.
Be adviced you might experience shortcomings in the delivery of speedcam update service again during your subscription period...so you may have to claim reembursement more than at this instance.
hello,
i paid 4 a radar-update may 17th; how can i verify if it has been downloaded? somehow i didn't notice anything happening. when i check 'tomtom services' i see no mention of radars, only 'traffic', 'danger zones' and MyDrive are 'Activated'.
pls help, i'm going on a road-trip monday
cheers,
Radek
You should see Speed cameras as an active service under "My content" when u connect your device to a pc with TomTom MyDriveConnect. If not u need to call custom service in your country monday
oh okay, i see that: for all d 30 countries it says 'installed on your device'. but there is no date, or which version, so made me suspicious. so d issue with d speed-camera updates is history?
then further down (on MyDriveConnect), 'MY SERVICES' ; subscription for radar cameras valid until 2022-11-1 ?! i paid for a 1,5year extension, what does that mean? i'm confused.
regards,
Radek
Rider400.
it's good to have an update, more important would b to receive warnings about mobile units. how exactly does this work, this is based on motorists calling in and reporting a mobile radar? if so, what number does one call?
to receive these warnings, one needs a cell-phone with internet connection & bluetooth, or is there any other way?
Any news on the speed camera update fix yet? My subscription comes up for renewal soon and I'm loathe to pay again for such a poor service. Complete failure of pre delivery testing and shocking customer service. About time TomTom offered a one off fee to subscriber's to get lifetime speed cameras on older machines same as the newer ones!!

Hi all,
I'm happy to let you know that we've just released Speed Camera updates through MyDrive Connect
Unfortunately, updating Speed Cameras through TomTom HOME is still not possible.
We're very sorry for the inconvenience this as caused you and thank you for your patience!
Just updated my go 6000 through my drive connect. Seems to be OK. What about some compensation for the time we've not been able to update? A 6 week extension on the subscriptions would be a nice gesture!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. There is indeed an issue at our end with the new speed cameras updates not getting offered.
I will send a heads up to the customer service about this. They will get back to you with more information.
