TomTom Sports connect shuts down immediately

Hi All !

I'm having an issue getting my Sports Connect application to run.

This morning (28 April 2017) I purchased a TomTom Runner 2 (got it at a discounted price)

As per the manual, I've plugged it in my PC's USB and it is charging. I then visited tomtom.com\123 and downloaded the sportsConnect installer for Runner 2.

I then opened the TomTom Sports connect app but it shuts down immediately. The Splash screen displays for a few seconds then vanishes. A watch icon also appears briefly in the task bar (bottom right corner next to the clock) and then also vanishes

I'm running Windows 10 Home 64 Bit. I've tried running the app as Administrator. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app as Administrator.

Any idea on how I can get the app to launch ?

Not sure if it will help or not but i've included the contents of my log.txt file below.

    At this point I would suggest calling Customer Support to see what they can do. They are able to more deeply investigate and diagnose problems than we can here on the user forum. To get the number for Customer Support, go to tomtom.com/support, choose Contact at the bottom, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
