my newly purchased touch does not give me any BMI readings. have had it on my wrist for a full day, gives all other readings incl steps, bpm but always shows a X when i try and get a reading for %.
Have you tried lightly wetting your wrist under the sensor and your fingertip to make sure it is making a strong connection? Also try shifting the band slightly on your wrist. I found t can be finicky at times but eventually it finds it. If it continues to fail I would call customer Support who can determine if it is a hardware issue. To get the number for Customer Support, go to tomtom.com/support, choose Contact at the bottom, select the service required and the product name and click Contact Customer Care and then Phone Us. It will give you the phone number for the country your account is registered under (this can be changed by clicking the flag icon in the bottom right corner of the screen).
