what a frustrating piece of kit this really is. I am attempting to put a route on the 400 using the onboard attributes after have been given a set of coordinate for a car park where I plan to meet a group of other riders. Despite consulting the manual and imputing the values in the search window (no address found) or the search/whole map/co-ords window as recommended in the manual nothing happens as it would appear that unless there is an address in the data set it just stops working.
Bearing mind that the whole system is based upon gps. it is an absolutely appalling situation and very unhelpful.

What's the coordinates format you're using?

As I can see decimal format is working ok.

DMS is also working but you can't have decimals in seconds part.

Can you be more specific and give us the coordinates you're trying?

Tap on the four dot Icon (....) (Bottom left screen)
    Tap Search Icon
Tap (Top right on screen) Tap Whole map Note…… On some units (I think) it says Installed Maps
    Scroll down
    Tap Latitude Longitude Icon

When the device has a "GPS Satellite lock"
The example Latitude Longitude on the screen is Live for your location

    You can't enter seconds as a decimal point : Example N 50° 31' 10.62'' W 4° 1' 55.95''
But If you simply round up or down the seconds entry in the example
I.e... The North decimal point to 11" and the West decimal point to 56"
It gives B3212 Sampford Spiney UK
If you tap the offered Sampford Spiney UK
The Map will open at the location and the Quick Menu will open
Tap the 3Dot Icon and at the top of the list is "Add to my Places"
Or Tap the blue steering wheel icon to drive there

    For example, If you enter N 52 23.488 W 2 12.501 it's a field in Worcestershire UK
In the text the New GO range will display the coordinate location and underneath, offer the nearest road location as a destination in this case an (Unnamed location) Hurcott UK

021fa32a-9e95-483a-a598-114e5cae63e8.jpgIf you pinch-zoom the map, it will show the coordinate location on the Map
Tapping the Globe coordinate Icon doesn't open a menu
Tapping the Black Icon with a pendant opens the "(Unnamed location) Hurcott UK" with the Drive to blue steering wheel Icon and other menu options
The GO gives you the coordinate location and will show it on the map, but can only plan a route to the nearest road access point

Thanks for your help but I have now found where I was making the mistake. To cut a long story short I have spent a good part of my life using English maps and co ordinates these use N and E coords and not N and W like Google. Trust the Americans to be different bearing in mind the English set the system up in the first place.
I take back what I said earlier.
