Is there an information that I can give the police as I have already reported the theft?

On your computer, go to the prefs.ini file in your Home3 folder (in my Windows 10 computer, the folder is located here:

It's a text file so scroll down to the [LastConnectedDevice] section.

You should find the model and serial number of your (stolen) device.

I have had my sat nav stolen in Marsailles (avoid!)...can it be blocked to stop further use if someone connects it to the internet......and can I reuse my purchased European maps on a new TOMTOM that I purchased for it?? :?:(

    Master Explorer
I am afraind not; TOMTOM link "hardwire" the license of a specific map to a specific device and you cannot load your map on another device.
TOMTOM Home will describe the map as "incompatible to your device"
I have two TOMTOM XXL 540, one with "US&Canada", the other with "EU45" and cannot backup the "US&Canada" map in order to load a different "EU45" zone on the 2nd device :(
