Renault (Grande Scenic)- Downloading the map[ on formatted SD card

Hello all. I need some help. I have a SD Card for Renault (Year 2013 model) Grand Scenic Carminat Tom Tom Live. Now the problem is the other day i formatted the card by mistake and the recovery option doesn't work. So practically the SD card is empty (wipe clean). Now i want to know if i buy the Latest Map for Europe will i be able to install the Map and will it work in my Car?

    Welcome to the forum:)

    You will first have to reinitialise the memory card and then update it using TomTom HOME. Please have a look at this helpful FAQ link

    (you may have to try the steps from point 4)
