MyDrive App- Destination loses precision when transferred

I look up a destination by street address with the Android app (v 1.6.1) and then add it to My Places.
It then gets transferred to my Go 5000 (is on application version 16.201.2572.311 (0) 27-5-2016), the latest at this time of writing).
I've found that it loses precision during the transfer.
On one occasion, I ended up in the wrong street in an old city centre, so that I had to go around the centre for another few km again.
On another occasion, it said it had reached my destination, when in fact I needed to go another 75 meters or so, over a bicycle path (which is awkward). I should have come from the opposite direction.

Could it be that the destination does not transfer street address, but geo-coordinates, and that some decimal places are lost during transfer?

Not a big problem, but peculiar enough to mention.

    Hi Rolf,

    Welcome to the forum!

    This sounds like a map issue. MyDrive (apps) use a different map than devices and seems that there's a discrepancy between the maps at this location. You can report this straight to the map team with the MapShare Reporter.
