I tried to buy a TomTom Sat-nav today - a GO version that cost £199.
Then I tried again, filling in all my details from scratch although you must already have them.
Then I tried a third time, and it still.didn't work.
Then I went to someone else's site and found a cheaper, older model which I bought. This enabled me to contribute £42 to help starving people in Nigeria. So TomTom should be feeling a warm glow of satisfaction as it has inadvertently done a good deed today,


At the same time it would be good to know why my purchase would not go through, although the funds were clearly in place. And whether anyone ever reads
these messages...?
