head/chest mount

Hi

I got the camera to use at OCRs - the mounts by TT aren't practical for this. How the GoPro mounts are built mean that the camera points down, or I'm holding the camera which is frustrating!

I really want a headmount where the camera sits on the side (obviously facing forward) I swear I've seen one like this at OCRs but I cannot find anything online. I don't want to have to make one (thinking wrist mount and some handy work with a standard head mount) and I really don't want to have to get a GoPro.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what to use/do?

after trying several possibilities, I figured that a helmet offers the most stability for the Bandit camera. I eventually settled for a helmet + 360 mount. I know they have a dedicated helmet strap, but I prefer the one that can get oriented up/down: for cycling I can adjust the angle depending of my position pretty fast. obviously I had to be a little creative with a vented helmet and eventually settled for tape rather than the adhesive provided with the mount (in case you prefer a more elegant solution, note that some helmets come with a flat surface for that purpose)

otherwise, there is this that you probably can adapt on a hat or something in case a backpack is not ideal.
