  • Dave: I hope @VikramK answers you as I did not keep a copy of the instructions. Good luck.
  • I can't believe it but @VikramK sent some Terminal instructions and I was actually able to instal Homel, run it and install updates to my TomTom today. I am currently running macOS Big Sur on an Intel iMac. We'll see what happens when I get my new M1 iMac. Most likely will need to use Rosetta 2.
  • LAST TIME ASKING! DOES TOMTOM HAVE ANY PLANS TO UPDATE "HOME" SO THAT IT RUNS ON BIG SUR? AND WHILE AM AT IT, ANY PLANS TO MAKE "HOME" RUN NATIVE ON APPLE'S M1 CHIP?
  • And another month goes by without an answer to the Big Sur issue. Come on TomTom - DO SOMETHING (or at least give us some hope).
  • Well, it's going on three months and TomTom has NO answer to their problem with macOS Big Sur. What am I supposed to do - throw my TomTom away? Does TomTom really care about its customers? Do I need to start a Go Fund ME to collect money for TomTom?
  • As far as anyone here knows, TomTom has NO solution to the issue. The current version of HOME does NOT work with Big Sur. They have given no reply as to when we can expect a fix and barely report that they're working on one.
  • As ALL Mac users know, it took a long time for TomTom to get HOME to work on Catalina, even though they should have known the 64 Bit requirement was coming for years. Now comes Big Sur and guess what - HOME doesn't load. It sure would be nice to hear from TomTom about what their plans and timetable are for an updated HOME…
  • OK, so now I can finally load and open HOME on my iMac with Catalina. It also sees my XL 340S. The problem is it wants to delete my current map and voice because it thinks there isn't enough room for the current/updated map. I am trying to update my US region map. My TomTom originally had maps of Canada, Mexico and the US.…
  • All of this is NUTS. I have been asking TomTom about their plan to update HOME for a year. I have been told that the currently available program that everyone is having trouble with isn't Beta and from what I see here that's correct - it's ALPHA! TomTom had 3 years notice that Apple would no longer run 32bit software but…
