    <description>&lt;p&gt;Managed to get thru to the tomtom helpline. It has to go in for repair, they are sending me details of how to return it and expect it to take 5 days. Seems like the mandatory upgrade wiped the thing and did not allow it to reload. &lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;My tomtom start 25 series is stuck on the boot screen after the mandatory software update. When I plug it into the computer the mytomtom software does not recognise that it is connected, and it doesn't show up in my computer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I have tried restarting both the tomtom and the computer, clearing the tomtom cache and neither have had any effect.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Any help is appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;Did you just restart the unit or do a drum reboot by holding the power button till you hear the drum sounds? Try that.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt; I held the restart button down for 20 seconds to shut the unit off and then the tomtom screen and the drum sounds came again, and the system was stuck in the same state as earlier. Have tried this three or four times with no effect.&lt;/p&gt;</description>

      <description>I too have the same problem . have downloaded My TomTom Support application to no avail . The device status remain on connecting all the time. Any help wouuld be appreciated</description>

      <description>&lt;p&gt;my tomtom is also stuck like this, i have tried the same ,,,,reset , charging ,, but nothing happens ,it switches on the drum sound happens then it just stays with the same thing or a red cross flashing or when i connect to my computer it says not connected&lt;/p&gt;</description>
