Why doesn't TomTom provide a map of Iceland? Garmin does so.

Hi there Jandhondt,

I would state that the reasoning behind TomTom not offering a map for Iceland would purely be down to the lack of demand for the mapping itself. If there became a higher demand for the mapping then I am certain that TomTom would consider releasing such mapping. My apologies for the inconvenience regarding this, however.

I'm heading to Icealnd again this year -3rd time I'd have love to have brought my TomTom with me but you guys don't support Icealdn due to lack of demand.

I'd like to demand a map of Iceland please and if I'd have know there was a lack of demand I would have posted everday for the last 3 years for it. Please make one- or at least include it in your scandinavian maps??

I agree. Just plugged my tomtom in fully intending to purchase a map of Iceland before my trip tomorrow and am very surpised to find that tomtom do not do one.

Bad business on your part guys - I guess it's paper and falling out with the missus for me!!

Please can you arrange for a map of Iceland. You might not think there is a demand but Icealdn is growing tremendously in tourism since the collapse of the economy there, it's cheaper for tourists than ever before. In the very least can you add it to your maps of scandinavia??

Well! Lucky I checked.

I was going to buy a new TomTom for this summer as my old one needed up-dating. I had thought that I would get a new, better TomTom as we would be touring Norfolk, France and .......... ICELAND !!!

Seems like I'll have to make other plans. As there are still no TomTom maps of Iceland.

Lost another sale there Marketing Team! There have been posts for several years about the lack of Iceland mapping.

You will suffer from that Loyalty/ old fiend/ kit I understand thing. A person gets to know his kit and will stick with a brand - like I was going to do. However, you drive them away and they find new kit that becomes an old friend. They don't come back!
