Tom Tom 1000 Configure favourites ?

Hello cab you help ? Tom Tom 1000 Configure favourites: I used to have short cuts with icons on the start up page but they have just disappeared :mansad: Anybody else had the same problem any suggestions how I can correct the problem ?

Tap the main screen...tap settings...tap make your own menu...scroll down and tap add to favourites. When you tap the arrow on the main screen the shortcut add to favourites will be there.

Go to startup settings, and choose "ask for a destination". Then say "yes" to the "frequent destintation" prompt. This turns on the startup icon screen.

Could not find regular favs.. not sure what happened but all sorted and working ok.

i reported this problem on the 19th of april but it is still unresolved.

Originally one could assign an icon to a regularly used favourite destination. After the first new destination button the screen with these frequently used favourites would appear and one could select the relevant icon or navigate to the page with all the other 'starred' favourites.

After (I think) an upgrade the regularly used favourites screen disappeared and all the faviurites likewise. However, if you went to 'manage favourites' all of them are there for deleting etc!
thus far the tomtom team are unable to resolve the issue but (weirdly0 suggested that I could send the unit back for a 'repair'! Why should I have to be without it? They should either refund or replace or provide me with something to use while they 'repair' it.. It is three months old and this is not the first issue with it.

It reminds me of the old British Leyland car launches where the early customers were guiney pigs to iron out the faults.

the world has moved on from those days surely?

Thanks mvi....this worked on my go2050...after an updated I lost my regular favorites icon and I couldn't for the life of me work it out...so again thanks!
