Same problem here. Trying to purchase map before I leave for Europe. Go 2535. Forums say happens a lot ... keep trying. You would think TomTom would be all over this. People trying to give them money but they will not take it is never a good business practice.

Hi, searched for an answer to this.
I also updated and purchased the year plus six month at a cost of £19.99 and on paying, received a server error, so stupidly enough, I tried again but again, to no avail then.........................I found I have been charged TWICE in my bank account!
Check your accounts guys and get your monies back!!

I have had the same problem and was told that there is a problem with Internet Explorer and that I had to use a different browser - but I don't have that choice as I am using a work PC that can't be changed in that way. I think Tomtom should make it more obvious that there is a problem at the moment! AND THEN FIX IT!

@JMCL4450: IE works also, but depending on the PC, you might have to switch it to compatibility view mode.

It is not true, it is not a different browser that solves the problem I am using google's own. I too cannot buy any maps. This is the second tom tom that I buy it will be the last time. My maps are 11 months old and I have tried to update/buy new ones since the beginning and nothing works. I am switching to Garmin. I have had enough of TomTom not supporting clients.
