Feature Request: Compass

I used to run an older version of Tomtom on one of my old HP iPac's and used to love how there was a built in compass that you could turn on and display on screen in the corner of the map.

Please bring this back to the iPhone version!

I agree. This is very useful especially if you have a much smaller device.

Re: Feature Request: Compass

I use the compass feature on an old TomTom device and I really miss it when using TomTom on my iPhone.

Please can we have the compass feature added to the iPhone TomTom APP.

As I know, the compass is a feature of iphone itself (see "Utilities")

zillss2003, yes the iPhone does have it's own compass APP but this can not be used inside the TomTom APP, you would have to come out of the TomTom APP to use the iPhone compass, not something you want to be doing when Driving, also the car interferes with the iPhone Compas APP.

We need to built in TomTom compas as was a standard feature on older models.

Yes, it would be good to have the compass back, so long as it doesn't interfere too much with the other information on the screen.
