Re: TomTom speed cameras in France

OK I'll keep this simple. I have a TomTom One. My paid for French cameras location was deleted by an update without any warning of this was to happen. I had to wait until May for these to be changed to "dangerous areas" .
I uploaded the "free" file of these dangerous areas and on a recent trip after receiving no audio warning whatsoever on approaching cameras I now wonder what is the point of having these areas on my device? Exactly how am I to be "warned" I am approaching an area?
Is it on the screen, is it tiny miniscule letters like the speed and limit are now? Which clown at tomtom thought that was an improvement?
I don't think I have ever come across a tool that is so user unfriendly. Despite paying for updated maps and downloading them, I found there are large areas of the A75 Autoroute in France where the limit on the TomTom is higher than that permitted, this was pointed out to TomTom and they took ten months to reply and say there was nothing they could do about this!!
There are also instances where you are told to turn right where it clearly is left, this happened near the airport at Bron near Lyon, I know we should also use road signs but you tend to rely on your GPS so you look at one thing rather than three, so come on someone from TomTom, tell me why I should buy another tomtom GPS or recommend your products to others.
