XL / XXL (HOME)

When I press navigate to and then go to city center my XL330 does not seem to have Vancouver BC, Canada in it or for that matter any cities other than cities in Ontario or Quebec. How do I find cities in western Canada

I have USA and Canada maps

I did what you recommended and did a factory reset and still I have no provinces or cities.

Until which point did you succeed? Which map version do you have?

I get to select country or state. When I sellect canada and then type in city Vancouver, BC does not come up or any other city in western canada.

I forgot to put my map version in. It is 845.2667

Okay, thanks. This is very strange, I've never seen this before. Your maps are from February 2010. But that's not the problem I guess. You could try to reinstall everything. Make a manual backup beforehand (see here: http://www.tomtom.com/13354). Then, remove all files from the root of your TT (only files, not the folders). Then, connect to TT HOME and let it update your device until no updates are offered anymore. Please let me know if it works for you.

Tried that and it did not work. Same problem still exists.

Okay. When did the problem begin? Has this v845 map ever worked well? Where did you get the map from? Maybe it's corrupt or something like that.

It  never worked and it came from TomTom. I have owned tthis thing for 2 years and have never been able to use it.
