Just walked to my car and discovered my GPS is missing my car was parked in my drive way any idea if I can track this contact the local police dept.

Unfortunately when you are not using a Truck navigation device then the GPS cannot be located. When you know the serial number of the device then you are able to report the device as stolen at the local police department.

nothing to do.. theft will make new account and will still using it and updating it.... dont know if tomtom can do anything in order to detect device thru serial number and blacklisted!!!..

If your model had LIVE services, you could contact TT at 866-486-6866 to at least disable that functionality.

This would be a bit advanced but when you are able to find a system so you are able to implent a tracking sensor inside the navigation device, then you could locate the device when its stolen regardless if its turned off. Only track the device with the help of the police.
